Nintendo Switch Is On Tour, You'll Be Able To Get Your Hand On It Before Official Launch
Nintendo is taking its new Switch console on tour, starting January 13th.
Nintendo will be making the Switch playable to the public with a multi-city tour that kicks off in New York. The Switch will be in each city for three days, and while the first two days will be invite-only, Nintendo says that the final day will be open to anyone.
The tour includes the following places:
- New York - January 13th–15th
- Toronto - January 27th–29th
- Washington, DC - February 10th–12th
- Chicago - February 17th–19th
- San Francisco - February 24th–26th
- Los Angeles - March 3rd–5th
"Space is very limited, however, and fans will be let in on a first-come, first-served basis. Early arrival is highly recommended," Nintendo says.
No specific games were announced, but Nintendo says that "select launch games" will be playable at the event.
We’ll know more about the Switch next month, as Nintendo will be holding an event in Tokyo on January 12th to reveal the console’s price, release date, and launch lineup.
