Writing Quality Tests - 3T Jitter Tests
In order to test the writing quality of the written disc with the Pioneer drive we summarise the 3T Pit & Land Jitter of the written discs on the following graph.
- 3T Pit results
The written discs from the Pioneer drive gave back excellent Pit Jitter values. Even at the highest speed of 24x, the Pit Jitter is well under the 35ns Red Book limit.
The average 3T Pit Jitter values for all recording speeds are illustrated in the following table.
All written discs gave back low average pit jitter values. The lowest average value was with 8x writing speed.
- 3T Land results
The Land Jitter values for the same discs written with the Pioneer DVR-107D are slighly increased in comparison with the pit values but again remained well below the 35ns Red Book limit.
The following average graph confirms the low levels.
The average Land Jitter values for all writen discs is extremely good. From the above graph we conclude that Pioneer DVR-107D is a very high quality writer for the CD-R format at all avaliable speeds.
