Replication Expo 2004: DaTARIUS helping save money
DaTARIUS has seen an exceptionally good first day at Replication Expo 2004 show in China , the premier Far East industry trade show.
With a large, eye-catching stand, DaTARIUS, the leading provider of quality control and process optimization equipment attracted a large number of visitors, with particular interest being shown in the upgraded compact Sprue Recycler, designed to save money in this era of escalating polycarbonate prices. Other items that grabbed the attention of the visitors were a unique multi-format stamper checker and the new 3-loop MF DisCo mould temperature regulator, which has been proved to reduce cycle times and increase yields in all formats, including BD. Other products of interest included the newly launched digital Print Label and Ident Code Inspection systems, and new releases of the flagship DaTABANK for dual layer DVDR.
Reducing costs and increasing margins is particularly important in this market, said Joan Lu , General Manager of the DaTARIUS Asian branch. Our customers have shown great interest in the new sprue recycler, which dramatically lowers their spend on polycarbonate. We are expecting to be able to announce a number of sales by the end of the show.
This market is focused primarily on recordable, and a number of people are also very interested in the new DaTABANK designed specifically for dual layer recordable DVDs, as well as the MF DisCo temperature regulator, which consistently helps to improve cycle times and yields.
Other news from DaTARIUS includes the relocation of its Hong Kong office.
This has been a very good show for us already, said DaTARIUS CEO and Chairman James Steynor . Our products for testing recordable media, along with our process optimization system, have been very popular with the Far East buyers. In addition, our new office, which was chosen for its central location, is a good base and very convenient for the customer service for which we are well known. It highlights the necessity in today's market, of providing local support.
