Software Architects announced the release of its WriteBD! Blu-ray Disc Drive storage system. Targeted at power users and the SOHO market, WriteBD! Blu-ray Disc Drive Solution provides analternative way for small business or consumer to use high capaciity 25 and 50 GByte BD-RE discs for backup, supplemental storage or for archiving photos, music, video and general files.

The system (model BD-100) includes a half height ATAPI drive with 2x writing speed and the WriteBD! Software. The drive supports both 25 Gybte and 50 Gbyte capacity BD discs.

The system's software allows for simple drag & drop files to and from the Blu-Ray disc.
