The Seasonic Vertex GX-1000 showed good stability during our stress bench with the OCCT Enterprise Edition and its "Power" test that stresses the system's total watt and power consumption. You can be sure that this power supply will stand the torture test of the fastest AMD processor and what Nvidia offers for ultra-high gaming with today's sold hardware.
- Conclusion
The Seasonic Vertex GX-1000 series is a well-designed product from the long experience of Seasonic's history. It has support for the latest specifications, like ATX3.0 and PCI-e Gen5, and includes the newest 12VHPWR power connector for those hungry NVIDIA 4090 series. The retail package is complete and the included cables have top quality.
The product comes with tons of certifications and uses on any modern system, and our test PC (AMD 7950X + NVIDIA 4090) gave stable operation and good noise levels when stressed with OCCT Enterprise Edition. At the market of 1000watt with a Gold Plus rating and 10 years of warranty, there are many different solutions, from different vendors, and Season here has a very good product, but very strong competition as well. The retail price of ~289 Euro is very high and reaches the retail price of 1200Watt PSUs. We have no real complaints about this product, and if you can find it at a much more reasonable retail price we would suggest it for any serious/enthusiast use.
