Until next year, the biggest IT show in the world has now closed its doors. After a 3-year hiatus, Computex 2023 was undoubtedly an absolute success. On the eve of the exhibition the European Hardware Association awarded our representatives with the Best Power Supply Award for our PRIME TX series to set the tone of the following days. This new Award decorated our Booth at the main spot, but the air was also buzzing with exciting discussions about the changing character or Seasonic’s business. The company’s core business, retail power supplies, still take up most of the Seasonic portfolio, but visitors could also spot new products like pc fans, networking solutions, medical power supplies and a smart energy monitoring system.

The retail power supplies have become more versatile with the arrival of a complete range of new ATX 3.0 and PCIe 5.0 compatible units that cover several efficiency levels as well as the whole range of output power that customers may need. This new line of products is probably the most complete range of ATX 3.0‑compatible family of power supplies on the market today.

The new PRIME TX and PRIME PX ATX 3.0‑compatible power supplies, scheduled to be introduced in Q3 2023, will be available in 1300 W (TX) and 1600 W (TX and PX) versions and will have the following features:

Two native 12VHPWR cables for the 1600 W and one native 12VHPWR cable for the 1300 W units
80 PLUS® Titanium and 80 PLUS® Platinum certifications
Cybenetics ETA Titanium for efficiency and Cybenetics Lambda A or A- for the noise level

Sea Sonic has recently introduced a new addition to its MagFlow Fan Series, the MagFlow ARGB fans. The products modern packaging design is the recent winner of the iF Packaging Design Award. Coming before end of Q3 in 120 mm version, it will boast:

Computex 2023 was providing a timely occasion to introduce a new product family to Seasonic’s portfolio – Networking and Medical equipment power supplies. These power supplies are mostly fanless open frame units and feature top level performance and very importantly, reliability. Seasonic’s Smart Energy solution from our subsidiary EkoEN is a comprehensive but simple energy monitoring system that is designed to provide accurate and timely information on a business unit’s energy consumption patterns. This is a perfect tool for facility management and a company’s efforts to reduce energy utilization. Based on such data, officials can obtain crucial real-time readings on power consumption to be able to manage usage and find solutions for energy usage reduction.
