Sonopress Continues Expansion With New DVD Replication Machines
The time-based competitive leader adds nine new DVD lines.
Sonopress LLC, a world leader in media services and turnkey production operations, announced today that it is expanding US DVD replication capacity by 82%, by adding nine new DVD replication machines to its Weaverville, NC facility. The new machines are part of an expansion program by Sonopress that was kicked off earlier this year with a 50% increase in CD replication capacity.
Per Save, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, remarked, "Sonopress' continued investment in manufacturing, printing capabilities and personnel are proof points to our solid business model and growth in the gaming, music, film, software replication and packaging industries. Sonopress is expanding."
The DVD lines will be fully operable for holiday season orders, which peak during the early fall. The new machines will allow Sonopress to manufacture 500,000 DVD's per day. New staff has been hired to run the DVD replication machines bringing Sonopress' total workforce in the Asheville area to over 750 full-time employees.
Earlier this year, Sonopress introduced Sonopack, the most flexible manual packaging solution available on the market, which allows companies of all sizes to outsource their manual packaging needs. With the addition of Sonopack, the increase in CD manufacturing lines and expanded DVD manufacturing capacity, Sonopress' turnkey solutions are the most competitive, time-based solutions available to both US and international companies.
