Sony also demonstrates dual layer DVD+R recorder at CES

Visitors of the Sony booth at CES had the chance to see a prototype dual-layer DVD+R recorder. The prototype will record on DVD+R DL media at 2.4x, while their compatibility with standard DVD players is claimed to be high. The drive also supports writing of single layer DVD-R and DVD+R discs, as well as CD-R/RW media.
