TDK Japan announced today a new series of 4X DVD+R/RW media in order to keep up with the market demand. The new media types are, "DVD-R47G", "DVD-RW47G", "DVD+R47G", and "DVD+RW47G" supporting 4X, 2X, 4X, and 4X, respectively. The new media is expected to hit the Japanese market around 20th of March.
