LiteOn Simplifies CD/DVD Recording with the EZ-DUB
LiteOn EZ-DUB is a 16x DVD dual drive and allows user to create backups of CD/DVD media by simply pressing a button, without needing to use any recording application.
The external DVD burner features two buttons placed on the top side of the device. Pressing the "DUB" button will directly copy the content of the inserted CD/DVD media, while the "FILE" button will copy your favorite files to the disc.
The EZ-DUB concept is expected to make CD/DVD copying an everyday easy task, especially for those who do not have any prior experience with recording applications. In addition, office workers would find the feature convenient enough as it would help them save time.
The external drive is based on the latest 16x dual layer burner from the Taiwanese manufacturer, the SOWH-1693S. Equipped with a USB 2.0 interface, the drive supports 16x recording for DVD-R/+R and 4x for DVD-R/+R DL media.
The EZ-DUB recorder will be demonstrated at IFA show (LiteOn Hall 26, booth 103), held in Berlin 2-7 of September.
