New ECS Motherboards Support ATI CrossFire

PC components Sep 8,2005 0

Elitegroup Computer Systems (ECS) announced the availability of its PA1 MVP Extreme ATI CrossFireTM-supported motherboard. The PA1 MVP Extreme is the first ECS motherboard supporting the ATI CrossFire technology. It features ECS's Scalable D.G.E. (Scalable Dual Graphic Engines) design, which enables leveraging of ATI's CrossFiretechnology. With Scalable D.G.E., two PCI-E based graphics cards can be connected to work effectively in tandem to enhance overall graphics performance. Users can also take the advantage of the PCI Express architecture by plugging in any single PCI Express graphics card. Like other ECS Extreme motherboards, the PA1 MVP Extreme also comes with the company's proprietary dynamic overclocking technology, Instant Overclocking Controller (I.O.C.).

The PA1 Extreme MVP supports LGA775 socket, Intel Pentium D processor, HT technology, Dual DDR2 667 memory architecture, SATA II, Gigabit LAN, 8 channel audio and comes with FSB options up to 1066.
