AOpen to Showcase Intel-based Products

AOpen announced on Wednesday that it will showcase several of its Mobile on Desktop (MoDT)-based products at the 2006 Intel Channel Conference (ICC). AOpen will debut a series of new Solo and Dual core motherboards, and barebone systems including new XC Cubes, MiniPCs and ePCs. AOpen will also launch it's MoDT Bootcamp, a campaign designed to promote its MoDT technology.

The main products that are to be the diplayed at the ICC include the EPC945GT-m8 an Intel Viiv technology-ready living room PC featuring both Intel Core(TM) Duo and Intel Core(TM) Solo processors, Micro ATX and built on a proprietary 945GM+ICH7MDH motherboard.

AOpen will also introduce its new Intel Viiv technology-ready MiniPCs. The MP945-V includes Intel Core Duo and Intel Core Solo processor based designs and is built on a proprietary 945GM+ICH7MDH AOpen motherboard.

The MP945-X mini-PC model features Intel Core Duo and Intel Core Solo processors built on a 945GM+ICH7M AOpen motherboard.

AOpen will exhibit several new motherboards inlcuding the 975 ATX model featuring Intel Core Duo and Intel Core Solo processor and a 975X + ICH7 chipset.

Two Intel Viiv technology ready motherboards will also be showed the uATX i945 and the mini-ITX i945. The first one is Intel Core Duo and Intel Core Solo processor based and features 945GT + ICH7MDH. The second one includes Intel Core Duo and Intel Core Solo processor based design and 945GT + ICH7MDH.

The 2006 Intel Channel Conference started on Monday and will be taking place until the very beginning of June in 33 North American cities.
