NVIDIA Releases ForceWare 91.31 Drivers
NVIDIA's ForceWare Release 90 driver update has finally reached an official, WHQL-certified state with the new ForceWare 91.31 drivers.
These drivers bring several major changes over the previous releases, the most obvious being a brand-new control panel with an interface inspired by Windows Vista. This control panel adds a temperature monitor that can keep track of temps over time, new HDTV quality settings, and a number of other miscellaneous enhancements.
ForceWare 91.31 also introduces NVIDIA's PureVideo HD hardware video acceleration features. PureVideo HD gives GeForce 7-series graphics cards the ability to decode video from high-definition HD-DVD and Blu-ray video discs, although HDCP support is required to play the new discs at their full resolutions.
A complete list of fixes can be seen in the ForceWare 91.31 release notes here (PDF). Download the drivers here.
