BenQ Introduces W9000 Full HD 1080p Projector
BenQ today expands its full HD projector lineup with the BenQ W9000, featuring native 1920 x 1080 high resolution, BenQ's proprietary Senseye technology, Advanced Continuous Electronic IRIS and a superior whisper quiet design that effectively reduces the fan noise to a quiet 23dB, providing exceptional image quality in an undisturbed viewing environment.
The W9000 is coupled with HDMI interface and works seamlessly with a wide range of devices including HD DVD players, Blu-ray players and gaming consoles.
The Advanced Continuous Electronic IRIS embedded inside the W9000 brings the contrast ratio to a high 8,500:1 while optimizing the light intensity in bright and dark scenes. The Advanced Continuous Electronic IRIS mimics the human eye's iris by varying the lens aperture and filtering the scene's lighting, bringing users high-quality image reproductions.
In addition to its five preset modes, the W9000 now offers more personalized functions with the ISFccc (Imaging Science Foundation Certified Calibration Configuration) of which includes a pair of calibration setting, the ISF Day and ISF Night, for best image quality in different lighting conditions. The settings were configured and locked during installation and requires activation by an ISF certified dealer.
Moreover, the W9000 is compatible with the Panamorph lens which converts 16:9 projectors to a full 2.35:1 aspect ratio and increases resolution and brightness by 33% and 20% respectively. The Panamorph lens eliminates letterbox bars and works with over 70% of all major motion pictures, offering W9000 users a true cinematic experience.
