KDDI R&D Labs Full High-Definition Content Encoding for Blu-ray

KDDI R&D Labs Full High-Definition Content Encoding for Blu-ray

Consumer Electronics Nov 26,2007 0

KDDI R&D Labs is displaying products in three categories, namely H.264 related products, IP transmission products and services, and content management, at Inter BEE 2007, an international broadcasting equipment exhibition in Makuhari. As a KDDI Group research and development subsidiary, KDDI R&D Labs specializes in video compression, data security, IP network control, and communication and broadcast collaboration.

H.264/AVC Quality Station is Windows software built around KDDI R&D Labs'high-resolution compression engine, MP-Factory Version 5. An advanced input video analysis feature enables full high-definition content encoding for Blu-ray or HD DVD playback as well as simple movie creation for OneSeg digital terrestrial broadcast-capable handsets and mobile phones.

KDDI also exhibits a real-time compression software and digital cinema H.264 encoder software. Pro/Amateur Determination Technology is a software application that determines whether content incurs copyright infringement without any preparatory learning.
