New Asus EeePC 904 Comes With 80GB HDD
Asus expanded its EeePC family of mobile computing devices with the release of the Eee PC 904, which comes with a bigger 80Gb hard disk drive.
The new model has a 8.9" (1024x768) LCD display also met in the company's Eee PC 901 model. It is powered by Intel Mobile CPU and comes with Windows XP preloaded.
The new "Eee PC 904HD XP", as it is labeled at Asus's web site, will offer a 80GB hard disk drive, also found in its larger brother Eee PC 1000H. It will be equipped with Asus' "Comfort Big Keyboard" also found in the Eee PC 100 series.
Other specifications include a 1024 MB memory, an SD/MMC (SDHC) card reader, 802.11 b/g WIfi connectivity, 10/100 Ethernet, 3 USb ports and a built-in camera.
Compared to the Eee PC 900 series, the new device will be powered by a stronger battery with 6 cells.
It will be available White or Black color variations and its weight will be 1.36Kg, almost 400gr heavier than the Eee PC 900.
Asus has not provided availability and pricing details.
