AIWA Introduces Mini Audio System With Built-in CD Recorder

AIWA Introduces Mini Audio System With Built-in CD Recorder

General Interest Oct 13,1999 0

"..AIWA XR-C3RW is a full-featured music system that includes a built-in CD-R/RW recorder for making digital recordings onto blank CDs.

In addition to the CD-R/RW recorder, the system includes a three-CD changer that will play CD-R and CD-RW discs, an AM/FM tuner, and a dual auto-reverse full-logic cassette deck. To ensure accurate, undistorted sound at all listening levels, the system also features AIWA's Multi-Amplifier System, with a 30-watts-per-channel amplifier dedicated solely to powering the subwoofers built into each speaker cabinet and a separate 10-watts-per-channel amplifier powering the mid-range and high-frequency drivers in each speaker.

The system's digital recorder is compatible with both CD-R and CD-RW audio discs, so consumers can choose whichever is best for each recording they make. It offers digital synchronized recording from the system's three-CD changer, an optical digital input for making digital recordings from an outboard device, such as a MiniDisc player, and a record level control to optimize recording quality.

Other system features include three-position T-Bass for tailoring bass performance to suit individual preferences and program material, an electronic graphic equalizer with presets for three different music types (rock/pop/classical), a seven-band spectrum analyzer, a jog dial that allows a single rotary knob to perform multiple operations, and a full-function remote control. The AIWA XR-C3RW digital audio system will be available in November and carry a suggested retail price of $700.00.." NULL
