End Of Era For The Legendary Technics SL-1200MK6 Turntable
In an era that proffessional DJing is based on digital audio and equipment, Panasonic Technics had no choice but to stop the production of the legendary SL-1200MK6 analog turntables
The company released the first model of the SL-1200 series of turntables in 1972. The device quickly became the standard tool in the hands of DJs around the world, mainly due to their rugged construction, the integration of a high-torque turntable motor (Direct Drive) and their precision.
Since then, Technics released many versions of the popular turntable, and now the company decided to stop producrion of the latest model, the "SL-1200MK6," which was released in 2007.
