Microsoft has decided that this coming January will be its last keynote presentation and booth at CES. The company said that although it will continue to participate in CES in order to "connect with partners and customers" across the PC, phone and entertainment industries, it won't have a keynote or booth after this year.

"Our product news milestones generally don't align with the show's January timing," said Frank X. Shaw Corporate Vice President, Corporate Communications, Microsoft.

Microsoft's final keynote at CES will be held on Monday night, January 9th 2012.
