Edge OLED Display, which is used for Samsung Display’s Smartphones, will soon be met in Chineses Vivo, Huawei, and Xiaomi smartphones. Chinese news press reported on the 28th that China’s Vivo is going to release new Smartphone called 'XPlay5' that uses Samsung's Dual Edge Display.

Vivo introduced a teaser image that is associated with Dual Edge Display on Weibo’s Micro Blogging site lats week. An official announcement of the XPlay5 smartphone is expected early next month.

The XPlay5 is expcted to be the first smartphone equipped with 6GB RAM. The flagship model uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 Quad-Core Processor.

Huawei and Xiaomi are also rumores to have striked supply contracts with Samsung Display and have been developing new smartphones based on Samsung's display tech.

Samsung Display's Edge Displays were introduced for the first time in the Galaxy Note 4 Edge, followed by the Blackberry's Priv models.
