The New NVIDIA Titan Xp Graphics Card Is Here

The New NVIDIA Titan Xp Graphics Card Is Here

GPUs Apr 6,2017 0

If you need all the power you can get, NVIDIA's new TITAN Xp is the card you possibly need to have.

Introduced today, the Pascal-powered TITAN Xp pushes more cores, faster clocks, faster memory and more TFLOPS (12 TFLOPs) than its predecessor, the 2016 Pascal-powered TITAN X.

The new card features 3840 Cuda cores running at 1.6GHz, and 12GB of DDR5X memory. Although the base clock of the new card is unknown, its boost clock speed reached from 1,531 MHz (Titan X) to 1,582 MHz, and the memory clock was raised from 10 Gbps to 11.4 Gbps. As a result, the theoretical performance has been improved from 11 TFLOPS to 12 TFLOPS, which is the same performance of an NVIDIA Quadro P 6000. The card's TDP remains at 250 W and it is should be powered through one 8-pin and one 6-pin external power connector.
