LG Teases With Premium Audio of New V30 Smartphone
LG Electronics said Monday its flagship smartphone, the V30, will be equipped with premium audio-related features in addition to high-end camera functions.
Through previous teasers, LG has been emphasizing camera-related features, hinting the 6-inch LG V30 will come with minimized bezels and a top-notch dual-lens camera with an F1.6 aperture.
On Monday, the South Korean tech giant added the LG V30 will be equipped with the Hi-Fi Digital to Analog Converter (DAC) for improved audio. LG Electronics said it also joined forces with B&O Play.
The company said users are allowed to optimize their sound simply by touching displays and adjust tone depending on genre.
Through the Sound Preset, users can optimize tone into four categories, namely balanced, clear, live and low-pitched. The Digital Filter also allows users to choose echo in three categories: short, slow and sharp, it added.
LG Electronics said the V30 will also become the first smartphone to support the Master Quality Authenticated format, a technology for high-quality streaming. The company will showcase the LG V30 on Thursday in Berlin.
