5.7-Inch Razer Smartphone Appears in Benchmark
Razer's press event is still weeks away but a Razer Android phone has already appeared on GFXBench website, suggesting that the phone will have 8GB of RAM.
According to the listing, the 'Razer Phone' will feature a 5.7-inch QHD (1440x2560 pixels) display. It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC and 8GB of RAM. Other features listed include 64GB inbuilt storage, a single 12-megapixel rear camera, and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.
The impressive specs, if they prove correct, suggest that the smartphone's focus will be demanding apps and games.
Earlier this year, the company acquired Nextbit, the smartphone company that made cloud-focused handsets. Nextbit has developde 'Robin', a smartphone that essentially merges cloud and onboard storage to back up your apps and photos and easily restore items when you need them. The $300 device runs on the Android-based Nextbit OS.
