New OnePlus 7T Pro Isn't Coming to the U.S.
OnePlus is upgrading its flagship smartphone to match the capabilities of the OnePlus 7T, but unfortunately, the new OnePlus 7T Pro model is not coming to the U.S.
The OnePlus 7T Pro provides the same form factor, curved display, and pop-up selfie camera as its predecessor. But it has been upgraded with the Snapdragon 855+ processor, improved camera system with macro mode, and Warp Charge 30T fast charger from the OnePlus 7T. The CPU is moved from 2.84GHz to 2.96GHz, and the GPU gets a more significant bump from 585MHz to about 673MHz. Overall, expect a 4% faster CPU and a 15% faster GPU. It also comes with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of fast UFS 3.0 storage.
Like the 7T, you get a battery that charges 23% faster while being a whopping 2% more battery than the 7 Pro: 4085mAh versus 4000mAh.
The cameras are mostly the same as the 7 Pro: There's an 8MP main camera, a 8MP 3x telephoto, and a 16MP wide-angle on the back. The one change is the addition of the OnePlus 7T's macro mode, which lets you focus on object from as little as 2.5cm away.
OnePlus also introduced a special edition McLaren version of the OnePlus 7T Pro called the OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition that includes 12 GB of RAM and unique black design with papaya orange highlights.
The company also announced a partnership with PUBG Mobile that will bring an optimized PUBG gaming experience to OnePlus devices. And the firm’s Bullet Wireless 2 earbuds are now available in an olive green color.
The OnePlus 7T Pro will cost £699 and will be available starting next week, while the McLaren Edition will set you back £799 and go on sale in early November.
