Infinity Ward to Fix Xbox One X Crashes With New CoD Modern Warfare

Infinity Ward to Fix Xbox One X Crashes With New CoD Modern Warfare

Gaming Oct 28,2019 0

Infinity Ward, the developers of the Call of Duty Modern Warfare game, promised to release a game update to fix crashes reported with Xbox One consoles during gameplay.

"We have identified an issue that is affecting some players on Xbox One X. Players affected are experiencing crashes. We are working with Microsoft to address the issue. We genuinely can’t thank you all enough for providing us with your ongoing feedback this launch, every bit of information helps. Stand by for more updates on this issue soon, and thank you for your patience and your help while we work towards a solution," the game Studio wrote on Reddit.

The cause of the error is still unknown, with some gamers to report frequent crashes in Multiplayer, menu and campaigns.

This comes on top of a number of other common bugs across platforms, including stuttering in cutscenes, incomplete challenge tracking and numerous "dev errors."

In the first day of the game's launch, players experienced multiplayer server outages, too.

You can check this page on Reddit to see when a new patch / hotfix for the game will be released.
