Sub-$300 AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT Graphics Cards Receive Entusiastic Comments

GPUs Jan 22,2020 0

AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT, a midrange desktop GPU costing just $279, seems to dominate rival's Nvidia offerinsg, judging from the reviews the new card is getting.

AMD's “ultimate graphics card for 1080p gaming” has been tested by various hardware websites and received very positive comments.

After testing the AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT, Tom’s Hardware reported that the card offers a seamless gaming experience by easily eclipsing 60fps at 1080P. The card excelled in demanding test including The Division 2 and Gears of War 5.

Anandtech tested Radeon RX 5600 XT by playing Metro Exodus and other games at maximum settings. They reported that the card is “fast enough to deliver a no-compromise experience even with the craziest settings.”

Compared to the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti, which also costs less than $300 following recent price cuts, it seems that the RX 5600 XT easily takes the lead. Reviewers found out that RX 5600 XT “wins more than it loses against the GeForce RTX 2060.” Also, what’s impressive is that RX 5600 XT uses way too little power than RTX 2060.
