Nintendo says GameCube sales target within reach
Videogame maker Nintendo said it expects to easily achieve its full-year sales target for its GameCube
console after price cuts spurred strong holiday sales.
The Kyoto-based company said holiday sales -- roughly defined as the period from end-November to early
January -- rose over 70 percent from a year ago.
Nintendo has targeted sales of six million GameCubes for the business year to March 31.
