BenQ brings official statistics to fans on euro2004.com

BenQ brings official statistics to fans on euro2004.com

General Interest Apr 9,2004 0

As an “Official IT Partner” of UEFA EURO 2004, BenQ is geared up to contribute to euro.com as the website’s “Official Statistics Provider.” UEFA New media in conjunction with UEFA and EURO 2004 S.A., officially launched the euro2004.com website, in preparation for the June commencement of UEFA EURO 2004 in Portugal. With the launch of the website, UEFA EURO 2004 will be the biggest sports event on the Internet. In addition to statistics on goals, assists, shot attempts, fouls and offsides, euro2004.com and BenQ will also offer fans the ability to conduct detailed player and team match-ups for accurate game predictions.

Fans will also be able to get for the first time on any football tournament website, a complete passing breakdown of all participating players. Whether fans want to know how frequent David Beckham passes to Michael Owen or if Zinedine passes more frequently to Thierry Henry or David Trezeguet, the answers can be found on euro2004.com.

In line with the international scope of EURO 2004™, the website will be accessible in eight different languages (English, Portuguese, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Russian & Japanese) and will offer live match reports, up-to-the-minute news coverage, exclusive interviews and more.
