GIGABYTE TECHNOLOGY announced a new BIOS update that delivers more comprehensive LGA1700 processor support across its entire lineup of Intel Z790, B760 and H610 motherboards. The update extends compatibility to a wider range of processors on the established Socket LGA1700 platform, giving GIGABYTE users more choice and more possibility to grow.

Your motherboard keeps getting better
The best upgrades are the ones that feel effortless. With GIGABYTE’s latest BIOS, owners of existing Z790, B760 and H610 motherboards, DDR5 and DDR4 models alike, can unlock broader processor compatibility in three simple steps: download the BIOS, update, and drop in a supported CPU. There is no board replacement, no system rebuild, and no complicated setup, just more performance from the platform you already trust.

For anyone who has already invested in an LGA1700 system, this is the upgrade path you were hoping for: more options, lower cost, zero hassle. Greater performance is now within easy reach, and it starts with a BIOS update.

Every board. Every builder. No guesswork.
GIGABYTE is the first in the industry to deliver this expanded processor support across every Z790, B760 and H610 model. Whether you’re building a brand-new PC or breathing new life into your current rig, you never have to wonder which board works with which processor. Pick any GIGABYTE Z790, B760 or H610 motherboard and you’re good to go.

Built to make life easier for the channel
For system builders, retailers, and channel partners, full-lineup coverage means smoother inventory planning and fewer compatibility questions at the counter. Existing stock stays fresh and relevant, and customers can buy with confidence, knowing their board supports a broader range of LGA1700 processors.
