be quiet! is expanding its Light Wings portfolio with Light Wings Pro IO, its first high-end, software-controlled Light Wings fan series. Light Wings Pro IO launches in two sizes (420mm and 360mm) as regular and reverse versions, and is joined by 140mm and 120mm Expansion fans. The new series combines spectacular illumination, precise software control, and whisper-quiet cooling for high-end gaming and multimedia systems, black and white showcases, water- and air-cooling setups, and silent system builds.

Easy-to-use single frame design
Light Wings Pro IO all in one frame fans are available in 420mm and 360mm, in black and white, and in two airflow versions: regular or reverse. These fans offer up to 4 independently controllable lighting zones with up to 124 LEDs, a single-frame design for a clean look and seamless installation, and an included IO Controller with IO cables*.

Even with its strong focus on RGB functionality, these all-in-one frame fans deliver excellent performance, thanks to optimized Quiet and Performance fan modes, fully customizable fan curves, and a closed-loop function. The performance goes hand in hand with be quiet!’s signature silent operation, thanks to a semi-passive zero RPM mode, individual impeller speed control, Fluid Dynamic Bearings, and a continuous rubber frame. To reduce acoustic resonance, the middle impeller runs with a small RPM offset. Light Wings Pro IO has a robust 28 mm thickness, a single-cable connection to the IO Controller, and daisy-chain support for up to six IO devices.

140mm and 120mm Expansion fan
The Light Wings Pro IO Expansion fans complete the series and are available in 140mm and 120mm sizes in black and white. Designed as expansion packs, they require daisy-chaining to a compatible single-frame main unit or connection via a separate IO Controller* and can be controlled with be quiet!’s IO Center for Windows, or IO Center for Web on supported browsers.

Despite their expansion-focused role, these models retain the series’ core strengths. They offer two independently controllable lighting zones with up to 55 LEDs, optimized Quiet and Performance fan modes with semi-passive operation, fully customizable fan curves, Fluid Dynamic Bearings, closed-loop function, and a continuous rubber frame.

Full control over fan and lighting with IO Center
IO Center for Windows provides centralized control of all Light Wings Pro IO models. Users can configure impeller and frame lighting together or independently, apply the current lighting settings to all other Light Wings Pro IO fans, and choose effects such as Static, Color Wave, Tornado, Breathing, or Temperature. Temperature-based lighting can automatically change color according to CPU, GPU, or other monitored system sensors, while color calibration helps match the LED color profile of the impeller and frame with other RGB devices in the system. Cooling Studio enables cooling profiles and custom fan curves, including per-impeller RPM configuration.

Users who prefer not to install software or who use a different operating system can use IO Center for Web for full fan and RGB configuration** on supported browsers, with settings stored on the device so they remain active even when the browser is closed.
