321 Studios, a leader in DVD authoring software, announced that it has teamed up with TRITTON Technologies, a leading provider of DVD recorders, to offer customers the ultimate "copy and burn" package. TRITTON's DVD + RW Viper drives will include 321 Studios' newly-released DVD X Copy, which allows customers to make perfect DVD to DVD backup copies, complete with special features and menus options, of their DVD collections. By offering DVD X Copy with TRITTON's external and internal Viper Drive DVD+RW/+R format, the copying software suite allows customers to make back-up copies of their favorite DVD movie in about an hour. These copies can then be played back on any portable and home DVD players as well as PCs with DVD drives.

In addition, the Viper External drive connects to the computer through either USB 2.0 or FireWire allowing for plug N play connectivity.
