ASUS Republic of Gamers Announces Availability of Swift OLED PG27AQWP-W and Strix OLED XG27AQWMG

Gaming Nov 7,2025 0

ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) today announced the availability of the ROG Swift OLED PG27AQWP-W and ROG Strix OLED XG27AQWMG gaming monitors. These 27-inch 1440p OLED displays feature the latest Tandem OLED technology that delivers brighter visuals, larger color volume, and longer OLED lifespan compared to previous generation WOLED monitors. In addition, both monitors feature a TrueBlack Glossy™ coating for supersharp visuals and infinite contrast, along with VESA DisplayHDR™ 500 True Black compliance and a 99.5% DCI-P3 gamut. In addition, built-in ASUS OLED Care Pro with the advanced Neo Proximity Sensor helps protect and ensure the longevity of the panel. Both monitors include a three-year warranty.

ASUS ROG is currently the No.1 OLED gaming monitor brand globally by market share, and with these two new additions, cements its position as the top choice for the gamers across the world.

ROG Swift OLED PG27AQWP-W: The world's fastest OLED monitor
The ROG Swift OLED PG27AQWP-W is the world’s fastest OLED monitor and boasts a native 540Hz refresh rate and an ultrafast 0.02 ms response time. This versatile monitor offers dual viewing modes that allow users to easily switch between ultrasmooth QHD@540Hz or 720P@720Hz visuals via a hotkey. The monitor features Tandem WOLED technology for 15% higher peak brightness, 25% wider color volume, and a 60% longer OLED lifespan versus previous-gen WOLED monitors. Plus, the new TrueBlack Glossy coating offers supersharp imagery and the deepest black hues in any environment.

The PG27AQWP-W has an extensive host of connectivity options including DisplayPort™ 2.1a UHBR20 with full 80Gbps bandwidth and HDMI® 2.1. It also features a tripod socket. In addition, VESA DisplayHDR 500 True Black compliance, 99.5% DCI-P3 gamut, true 10-bit color, and Delta E<2 color difference provide astonishing HDR performance, making the PG27AQWP-W ideal for gaming as well as photo and video editing.

The OLED Care Pro suite’s advanced Neo Proximity Sensor precisely detects the user’s distance from the monitor and transitions to a black image to guard against panel burn-in when the user steps away. It then instantly restores the onscreen content when the user returns. Detection distance can be customized to suit personal preference up to a range of 1.2 meters, ensuring maximum convenience and protection. From a design perspective, the PG27AQWP-W has a sturdy stand with a stylish silver finish and a half-transparent back panel gives it an aesthetic that stands out in any setup. The PG27AQWP-W retails for US$1099 (MSRP).

ROG Strix OLED XG27AQWMG: Enhanced visuals and exceptional colors
The ROG Strix OLED XG27AQWMG monitor boasts a 280Hz refresh rate, 0.03ms response time, and a new compact stand that’s 30% smaller than those found on previous 27-inch ROG XG series monitors. Like the aforementioned PG27AQWP-W, the XG27AQWMG features new Tandem OLED technology for brighter, more colorful visuals and a longer OLED lifespan. VESA DisplayHDR 500 True Black compliance, a 99.5% DCI-P3 gamut, true 10-bit color, and Delta E<2 color difference offer astonishing HDR performance, making this monitor perfect monitor for gaming and creative pursuits.

To ensure longevity of the OLED panel, the advanced Neo Proximity sensor uses wavelength detection to accurately measure the user's distance to the monitor and automatically switches to a black screen when the user is away. The XG27AQWMG is compatible with a wide range of input sources via DisplayPort 1.4 (DSC), HDMI 2.1, and USB Hub. It also features a tripod socket. This monitor has a retail price of US$599 (MSRP).
