In a 40-minute presentation, Asus Chairman Jonney Shih also introduced the Eee PC T91 and T101H, the Eee Keyboard, and the Eee Top.

The Eee PC T91 and T101H are the latest models of Eee PC. These touch tablets are efficient, stylish and portable for consumers to complete tasks on-the-go. The convertible tablet will be capable of running Microsoft's upcoming Windows 7 OS and its weight is just 2lbs. The device is also 1-inch thick and features an 8.9-inch LED backlit touch panel. It will be powered by an Intel Atom Z520 processor and will also carrie a TV tuner and have GPS functionality. More information on the device is available in a video posted by Engadget.com

Another very interesting product was the new Eee Keyboard. Being the first multi-media center enabled by ultra wideband HDMI, the Eee Keyboard is not only a fully-functional PC; it also serves as a hub that wirelessly connects all multimedia devices to utilize any monitor or TV as a viewing platform. This device will work on wireless HDMI, effectively transforming any capable television in your home into a monitor. It's weigh is 2lbs and it has a 5" touch screen display.

Built on the concept of "Touch to communicate", the Eee Top?s unique interface provides its users with a brand new computing experience founded on the Eee DNA. Not just easy to navigate for users of all demographics, it is also a valuable tool for collaborative learning. Asus described it as "a device for every room in the house." It appears designed to connect to home networks, and operate using an "easy navigation system" using gestures rather than touchpad or keyboard.

Shih also emphasized ASUS? commitment to shared computing" by introducing a concept model which allows notebook users to share their work by folding and unfolding computer screens.

ASUS is projecting to ship 7 million Eee PCs by the end of 2009 and WiMax embedded Eee PCs are to become available in North American by the end of Q1 2009.

Extreme Gaming Solutions

Specifically designed with gamers in mind, the ASUS G71 offers full-tilt performance as the Intel Quad Core gaming notebook. Packed with extreme graphics capabilities, the G71 delivers a total gaming experience with an emphasis on audio clarity. Other models in the G-Series line of gaming notebooks include the G50Vt and G70Sg gaming laptops; which feature extreme performance graphic cards as well as built-in ASUS exclusive features like Direct Messenger - a second display that lets gamers keep updated on any emails and instant messages, or system information like CPU loading while they game.

The ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) Rampage II Extreme motherboard incorporates the latest innovations and components into its architecture to push the boundaries of the new Intel Core i7 platform to the limit.

Among the technological advances that will be displayed, ASUS' new M4 Series motherboards, which will support the latest AMD processors, are on display at CES. Utilizing a brand new motherboard design built from the ground up, this series of motherboards will feature an 8-Phase power design to fully complement the next generation processors.
