The retail price of the Dark Base Pro 901 is expected to be around 319.90 euros. The retail package weighs around 20.8 and it's carefully packaged to prevent transportation hazards. The case has 3 years of warranty (mostly for fans) and an international hotline/free of charge for DE and FR citizens. As with most be quiet! products, it has also CE and UKCA certifications.

There are two big foams on each side of the case and the case itself is covered with a protective wrap case.

The exact dimensions of the case are shown below, we are talking of a middle-sized case with 604 x 275 x 569mm (L x W x H) and the total weight including the steel bottom stands of 16.3Kg, this case weights 20% more than the be quiet! Silent Wings 802 (with glass panel). What isn't offered (for now?) from the be quiet! is the option to have a solid right panel...

The case has, of course, black color, hence the name Dark Base Pro 901, and probably won't be offered in white color.

The increased weight can be explained by the use of aluminum for the top and front covers, side panels are made out of steel (left) and glass (right). The bottom four stands are also made out of steel this case is solid! be quiet! states that the used steel confirms the SGCC standard. SGCC steel is a soft-forming quality hot dip galvanized steel. SGCC is a material grade and designation defined in JIS G 3302 standard. JIS G 3302 is a Japanese material standard for hot dip galvanized steels. Commercial quality hot dip galvanized steel is a type of steel that can be made after galvanizing a coil of SPCC cold rolled material.

There are two removable dust filters one at the front front and 1x at the bottom. be quiet! has its 1st priority sound dampening and for that reason has included insulation at the top, front pane, and back side panels, while also installing anti-vibration pads at HDDs, installed fans, PSU bay, and motherboard tray. The front solid panel can also be replaced with a steel mesh cover, that is included at the accessories box in case you want more airflow than sound dampening, we have seen this also with the Silent Base 802 case.

High airflow is needed for such a big and expensive case. be quiet! has included 2x Silent Wings 4 140X140/X25mm PWM fans at the front and one at the rear. The Silent Wings 4 is the latest and most advanced fan from be quiet! and if would nag would be that they simply don't include RGB lighting. If you want to max out the fans in this case you can spend a lot of money since the case supports 11x total fans installed:

The Dark Base Pro 901 includes side and front LED illumination, with 8+16 pieces that are powered via ARGB - 5V and can be synchronized with the controller/motherboard

After installing the motherboard you can install CPU coolers, up to 190mm. When an (optional) HDD cage isn't installed, users can install up to 495mm of Graphics cards, while with an HDD cage installed, this is reduced to 370mm. This is a very spacious PC case and users can install,

It's possible also to install 420mm radiators at the top of the case if you wish to mod this case and remove the Qi wireless pad. The Dark Base Pro 901 has been designed in mind with a flexible motherboard tray for an inverted layout. That means you can invert the motherboard orientation/VGA and have a not-very-usual internal view

The invert process does take time and needs some patience. be quiet! has posted an online video, where it explains the whole procedure, so it's advised to take a look before starting over.

Another neat feature is the included VGA holder that can keep your heavy 4090 graphics card in its place. This can be used in both normal/inverted cases to secure VGA cards.

be quiet! also will sell their own VGA Riser Cable (PCIe 4.0 cards certified) to have a vertical installation of the graphics card.
