- Heatsink may not fit in all motherboards. Do not remove heatsink, this can result in damage.
The retail version of the Verbatim Vi7000G NVME SSD can be found online for ~120 Euro (2TB), while there is also a 1TB version at ~75 Euro available. The visual design of the product is very good, all needed logos are present for users to take a quick look at the product's performance and overall appearance.

The NVME is secured to a plastic case, which helps it survive transportation.
The drive is compatible with the M2280 protocol and has 80mm x 23mm x 9.8mm dimensions and weights 38.5gr, due to the included heatsink. At the front, you will find only the Verbatim logo at the top right
, while at the back there is a sticker with the product serial number and other related information.
Verbatim states that removing the heatsink may brake the product and advises you not to. For our testing, we used the default heatsink.
The drive is compliant with CE, FCC, RoHS, WHQL, PCI Express Base 3.1, and NVMe 1.3 and supports PCIe Gen 4.0 x4 connection interface. The installation procedure is very simple to operate, just find an empty NVME slot and secure the SSD.
