We expected high performance from the be quiet! Straight Power 12 series and we didn't get disappointed. Stressing the best high-end users can buy (latest AMD 7950X processors + NVIDIA 4090 VGA card), with the OCCT Enterprise Edition and its "Power" test, we didn't have any problems passing this test with fly colors.

- Conclusion

The be quiet! Straight Power 12 power supply series was announced recently and cover from 750watt up to 1500watt categories, making it the medium-placed power supply series at the be quiet! lineup. This product improves the entry-level PurePower series and includes a better 135mm fan, better Japanize capacitors, and a +12V single rail operation that is preferred by power users and overclockers.

The product comes with tons of certifications and uses on any modern system, and our test PC (AMD 7950X + NVIDIA 4090) gave stable operation and good noise levels when stressed with OCCT Enterprise Edition. The Straight Power 12 1000watt model, includes a single 12VHPWR power connector, which can deliver significantly more power compared with the "older" ATX2.0 power supplies. The included cable from be quiet! has great quality and supports up to 600 watts. There are also two ‘traditional’ PCIe 6+2 connectors to cover "older" graphics card users.

At the market of 1000watt, there are so many different solutions for users to buy, however, be quiet! again separates itself from the competition with higher efficiency (80 Plus Platinum) and a very good retail price (~220 Euro). We liked the be quiet! Straight Power 12 1000watt power supply, and if you are looking for a new power supply that will cover you for the future, we can highly suggest that be quiet! Straight Power 12 series with its overall performance/price ratio.
