CEA Launches Earth Day Photo and Video Contest

CEA Launches Earth Day Photo and Video Contest

Cameras Apr 2,2011 0

The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) today launched a digital photo and video contest to celebrate Earth Day. Four contest winners, to be announced on Earth Day, April 22, 2011, will receive one digital camera or camcorder such as the Cobra Digital HDVC6000 Solar digital camcorder.

The Earth Day contest begins today and photo and video submissions will be accepted until April 17, 2011. Entrants can submit one photo and one video showing what Earth Day means to them. Expert judges will select a winner in each category, and an online popular vote running from April 18 - 21, 2011, will determine a people's choice winner for each category. To view the full contest rules and submit a photo or video, visit DigitalTips.org/bestshot.

Winners and finalists will have their entries displayed on DigitalTips.org. In addition to the solar camcorder, prize winners will receive: an Olympus Stylus Tough digital camera, a Kodak EasyShare M590 digital camera and a Cobra Digital HDVC5100 digital camcorder with a gadget bag and tripod. All entrants will receive a discount code to purchase a CEA Tech Enthusiast (CEATechEnthusiast.com) membership for $29 (regularly $49), which provides access to insider information on the latest tech trends, monthly contests and discounts from tech companies.
