Crucial DDR5-5200 & 5600
3. Conclusion
Crucial is one of the few memory manufacturers that knows how to manufacture quality products that comply with the JEDEC standards and at the same time offer higher performance for more experienced users. The Crucial DDR5-5200 and DDR5-5600 memory kits are the fastest, so far, that Crucial has introduced to the market and from our testing were very stable and with high compatibility. We used both kits (2x16GB) and all modules worked great at 5600MHz running speed with the included EXPO profile, resulting in a nice 64GB DDR5-5600 memory setup. Most other manufacturers do indicate that users shouldn't mix different memory kits, even if they come from the same vendor.
The retail package for both products is very simple, but efficient since it protects the contents. Both the 5200 and 5600 kits have a black PCB design without any heat spreader, which isn't needed since the memory runs at a very low 1.10V resulting in temperatures up to 56 Celsius with normal airflow. Other vendors do use heat spreaders since they tend to sell "overclocked" memory modules that need higher voltages to properly work. From a performance view, the Crucial DDR5 memory performed as expected and the DDR5-5600 gives a small boost to overall performance. Both memory kits have included EXPO/XMP3.0 profiles for both AMD/Intel systems, so Crucial have you covered.
Both DDR5-5200 and DDR5-5600 memory kits have now the exact same price of ~ 104.99 at Amazon.com so depending on local availability and final price, we do recommend both kits for all users who wish to get a good performer and a legendary lifetime warranty from Crucial. While no RGB is found at those modules, not everyone needs it and for a stealthy back system, those low profile modules are perfect, great work Crucial.
