The DeepCool PN850M didn't show any problem during our tests with OCCT Enterprise Edition (Power Tests) and seems to handle the MSI 4090 card OK, even though we would prefer higher capacity for those hungry graphics cards, especially when paired with Intel CPUs that want much wattage to operate.
- Conslusion
The DeepCool PN80M Power Supply is among the first ever ATX v3.1 Power Supplies to arrive in our labs. DeepCool continues to develop and introduce to the market many different products apart from coolers. The new PN-M series comes in various capacities, 650/750 and 850 watts. The retail package is complete, we didn't miss anything. The included cables have good quality and for the 850-watt model, a 600watt 12V cable is included. During our testing, we didn't find any problems or sudden failures, which is nice. All new rated ATX v3.1 Power Supplies, are expensive since they need to withstand increased loads for short periods. DeepCool offers 10 years of warranty and the product is rated as 80 PLUS Gold certificated. We haven't found the product, yet, publicly available, the PR release mentions around 110 Euro retail price, while online stores offer the product at ~145 Euro. We feel that the product will eventually ship to the market and follow the competition, which offers many different solutions at ~100-110 Euro market. There is no RGB love with this product, but we feel that you should consider the DeepCool PN-850M since has a good appearance, design, power, and 10 years of warranty for end users.
