Asus vs S300
- Single Layer Media
To check exactly what the ASUS DVD-E616P2 reports, we used different media, burned with other recorders. These media have been measured with the well known AudioDev SA300 DVD CATS system at 1X.
According to CDSpeed, only three reading speeds are supported, 10X/8X/5X, while the scanning interval is 64ECC blocks.
PISum8/PIF Comparison - 5X Reading speed
The trend line from the CDSpeed graph for the PI sum is similar to the SA300. The values are also very close if we consider the difference in scales. The PIF readings are also similar.
