Eclipse, the leader in DVD and CD mastering software and hardware, and HexaLock, a leader in CD-ROM copy protection technology, announced today that their companies are working together to incorporate HexaLock copy protection solutions within the EclipseSuite Software. Since the HexaLock copy protection solution is totally software based, it is straightforward for Eclipse to integrate the HexaLock Plug-in within our CD mastering Product Suite, said Bob Edmonds, Eclipse VP of Sales and Marketing. We anticipate a short development time before we can fully certify and offer the HexaLock Plug-in to our customer base. This will give replicators a new solution to address publisher concerns with piracy and unauthorized content copying.

When designing the HexaLock copy protection products, we took particular care to make the products fit seamlessly and work automatically, within current CD manufacturing operations, said Eyal Cohen, HexaLock CTO. Our solutions require no expensive hardware upgrades and can be integrated into production environments quickly and easily.
