Firefox 2.0 Beta 2 Released
Firefox 2.0 Beta 2 has now been released to the public.
The Mozilla Foundation has been working to finish up its Firefox 2.0 web browser. Beta 1 RC was released in early July and a month later it was announced that Mozilla was delaying Beta 2 due to some show-stopping bugs. Those major bugs have been squashed and Firefox 2.0 Beta 2 has now been released to the public. Mozilla is still on track to release the final version of Firefox 2.0 on September 26.
Firefox 2.0 has a number of new features including a spruced up user interface, built-in phishing protection, enhanced search capabilities, improved tabbed browsing with a close "X" on each tab, browser session restore and inline spell checking.
