Freecom Technologies, a leading European manufacturer of high quality, easy-to-use multimedia storage solutions, today announced the launch of a new retail product line-up for the North American market. They also announced the opening of Freecom's North America headquarters in Northern California. "This is the next logical step for Freecom. We have been in the US market for many years providing OEM solutions for most of the market's biggest suppliers. If you have ever used an external memory storage product from a blue chip system provider, there is a good chance it came from us," said Christian Dijkhof, Sales and Marketing Director for Freecom Europe.

Freecom Technologies successfully combines German engineering expertise with the grace of European styling to produce a full range of appealing, reliable and easy to use multimedia storage products.

"We are proud to be offering this well engineered line of products to the US retail market. Our goal is to provide the US market with high quality, dependable, attractively styled products," said David Glassman, US Sales Manager for Freecom.

· CD-RW Slimline series;
· Internal and External CD and DVD writers;
· External USB and FireWire hard drives;
· USB Sticks with capacities up to 1 GB;
