With the introduction of two new desktop PCs available at its retail partners, Gateway makes it easier to afford and enjoy quad-core fueled gaming, entertainment and productivity based tasks.
The new Gateway GM5664 bring the AMD Phenom Processor and DirectX 10 Technology to the GM and GT Series of desktops. In addition, Gateway is introducing a new Hybrid-SuperMulti drive on the GM5664, enabling customers to watch both Blu-Ray and HD-DVDs.
The AMD Phenom Processor features quad-core power for dominating the latest games, while 3GB memory delivers fast system response for effortless multitasking.
The overall system performance of both new PCs is enhanced with the addition of DirectX 10 support with ATI Radeon HD 2400XT graphics featuring 256MB video memory and HDMI output.
The new Hybrid-SuperMulti drive lets customers watch both Blu-Ray and HD-DVDs, and features burning capability on any type of DVD or CD disc. Rounding out this media supercenter is an integrated TV tuner with remote control.
