Google Glass Available April 15
If you have $1,500+ to spend and you live in the U.S. you'll be able to get Google's controversial Internet-linked Glass eyewear by April 15.
So next Tuesday at 6am PDT, Google is opening up some spots in its Glass Explorer Program. Any adult in the US can become an Explorer by visiting Google's site and purchasing Glass for $1500 + tax. Google says the number of spots available is limited, so mark your calendar if you want to get in.
Google in March said it is joining forces with Luxottica to create and sell Glass Internet-linked eyewear in the United States. Luxottica brands include Oakley, Alain Mikli, Ray-Ban, and Vogue-Eyewear.
