A new report is adding weight to the numerous previous that have been surfacing online, claiming that Google will release its next 5.9-inch Nexus phone later this month, along with the new versiob of the Adnroid OS. The Wall Street Journal says it has word from three people "familiar with the situation" about the new Nexus phone, which is said to have a 5.9" screen, will be made by Motorola Mobility, and will launch simultaneously with the next Android release, Android L (Lollipop).

According to one of the paper's sources, Google wants to "deliver a Nexus phone that rivals the iPhone 6 Plus on display quality but at a lower price." Recent leaks suggest the next-gen Nexus has a 2560x1440 display resolution, which would yield a pixel density of about 500 PPI on a 5.9" screen. The handset is also expected to boast a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera capable of filming in ultra-high definition, the biggest and most powerful processor that Qualcomm currently makes.
