Lexar Debuts New 2-in-1 Micro-USB Flash Drive, Flash Reader And UHS-I Card
Lexar today announced the Lexar JumpDrive M20 Mobile USB 3.0 flash drive; the Lexar Professional Workflow UR1 three-slot microSDHC/microSDXC UHS-I USB 3.0 reader; and the 128 GB Lexar High-Performance microSDXC UHS-I card. Featuring two connectors - micro-USB and USB 3.0 - the JumpDrive M20 Mobile USB 3.0 flash drive allows users to transfer files with On-The-Go (OTG)-enabled Android tablets or smartphones without the use of cables or Wi-Fi.
The Lexar JumpDrive M20 Mobile offers read speeds of up to 120 MB/s, it sports a thumb slide design to retract both connectors and is backwards compatible with USB 2.0 devices.
It will be available October 2014 with MSRPs of $34.99 (16 GB), $54.99 (32 GB), and $64.99 (64 GB).
The new Lexar Professional Workflow UR1 is a three-slot microSDHC/microSDXC UHS-I USB 3.0 reader.Designed for professional photographers, videographers, the reader is compatible with both the Professional Workflow HR2 (Thunderbolt 2/UBS 3.0 reader and storage drive hub) and Professional Workflow HR1 (USB 3.0 reader and storage drive hub). It has an MSRP of $39.99 and will be available in October, 2014.
Last but not least, the new 128 GB Lexar High-Performance microSDXC UHS-I card supports read transfer speeds up to 633x (95 MB per second). The Class 10 microSDXC card comes with a USB 3.0 reader and allows for high-speed file transfer of photos and videos from the card to a PC or Mac.
The reader is also backwards compatible with USB 2.0 ports and will be available for purchase in October 2014 with an MSRP of $119.99.
