Microsoft Lumia 550 Now Available

Microsoft Lumia 550, the company's most affordable 4G LTE smartphone running Windows 10, is now available in select markets at $139. Sales of the new smartphone begin today in Europe, with other regions around the globe to follow in the coming weeks.

The device runs on Microsoft's new Windows 10 OS, which features Microsoft apps and services such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Cortana, OneDrive, Outlook Mail and Outlook Calendar, and Skype.

The Lumia 550 also includes Glance Screen displays time, date, notifications, and calendar entries without having to unlock or activate your phone.

The Lumia 550 connects using 4G LTE reaching download speeds of up to 150 Mbps and uploads of up to 50 Mbps.

The smartphone has a 4.7" HD display (1280×720, 315 ppi), 1 GB RAM, a 5MP camera and it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 (MSM8909
1.1 GHz quad core processor and a 2100 mAh removable battery.
