MSI Launches New MP3 Players
Taiwanese MSI introduced two new portable MP3 players. The MEGA Player 540 uses a 4GB HDD while the MEGA Player 536 is equipped with an 1-inch HDD memory as well as an SD/MMC card reader.
The MEGA Player 540 features a direct encoding function, enabling encoding and saving of music in MP3 format.
In addition, the MEGA Player 540 features SRS WOW effect for virtual surrounding sound.
The device can be also connected with any USB compatible digital devices (Digital Camera, Hard Disc) without PC, through its USB 2.0 OTG (On-the-Go) function.
The second player comes with a built-in 1-inch HDD memory as well as SD/MMC card slot that enables reading of files directly from memory cards. Menu navigations and playback controls is easier through the touchpad of MEGA Player 536. The direct encoding function, as well as SRS WOW effects are also supported by the MEGA Player 536.
Other features of MEGA PLAYER 536 includes 15 FM stations presets, simultaneous listening and recording of live radio capacity, language A-B key with continuous playback, 18-hour playback using built-in rechargeable Li-ion battery, and USB 2.0 connection.
The company has not disclosed pricing details for the new players.
