MSI Releases New Cubi2 Mini PC
MSI today added the Cubi 2 Plus to its line up of mini PCs. The new device handheld-size has been designed to suit the needs of both consumers and businesses. This new generation Cubicomes with the new mini STX (5x5) motherboard form factor. The mini STX motherboard is 29% smaller than a mini-ITX motherboard, making it the smallest motherboard with a socket design available.
The Cubi 2 Plus is powered by a Skylake-S processor. It supports connections of up to two monitors, multiple storage devices and can be mounted to a wall or the rear of a monitor using VESA standards.
It is also equipped with multiple USB ports for connecting barcode scanners, credit card readers, receipt printers and many more.
MSI Cubi 2 Plus will be globally available by the beginning of March 2016.
MSI will also offer a vPro edition of the device with support for all the security benefits as well as the features of Intel Unite. Intel Unite lets you setup remote meetings with colleagues and supports sharing up to 4 screens at the same time.
